Garrett Testi MSW, LCSW

Therapist/Online & In-person

My ideal clients are often those who find themselves facing moments they never expected. Life doesn’t always give us time to prepare, and sometimes challenges arrive without warning, leaving people feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves. I believe that many struggles grow out of these unplanned moments rather than personal failure. I approach therapy with deep respect for each person’s story, honoring the unique experiences and unexpected turns that have shaped who you are. I walk alongside clients as they make sense of what has happened and how to navigate the next steps.

I will take time to listen and understand what things are like from your point of view, rather than starting with assumptions about your situation. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a choice, not a directive, and we get to decide whether working together feels right. If it does, we’ll build goals and a plan that allows space for learning, adjusting, and figuring out how to best navigate your healing journey.

I also understand how isolating it can feel when the people closest to you don’t fully understand what you’re going through. Even well-intentioned family and friends often see you through old lenses, which can make it hard to explain what’s happening to you internally. Therapy can be a space where you’re not asked to be anything other than who you are now and a place where your experiences are the focus and respected.

Ashley King LCMHCA

Therapist/Online & In-person

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2025. I also hold a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature, which shapes my appreciation for the powerful role personal narratives play in how we understand ourselves and the world around us. Our stories, expressed through thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, often influence how we make meaning of our experiences. Before entering the counseling field, I worked in business and higher education, with a focus on communication and career development.

I work with adults and draw from my experience with diverse populations to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic space. I strive to build upon each client’s strengths while offering empathic guidance as they work toward meaningful personal and life goals. My approach is integrated and strengths based, with an emphasis on growth, self-understanding, and resilience.

A consistent focus in my work is helping adults move forward with greater clarity and purpose in their chosen life path. Depending on a client’s needs, I integrate approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy. Through trauma informed care, I emphasize safety, trust, and values exploration to support purpose driven living. I partner with clients to develop skills for emotional regulation and to navigate life’s challenges with greater acceptance and self-compassion. I believe every person has the capacity to reshape their story and reconnect with hope through values-based action.

Faith based therapy is available upon request.

I practice under clinical supervision and adhere to all applicable ethical and professional standards.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us today, we hope you will decide to connect with us! I have been a therapist for a little over 10 years and I have had the privilege of sharing in the lives of many people. It warms my heart and provides such joy to share in the excitement of their healing. What an honor it is to share in and help someone through the darkest parts of their journey!

While I truly love this work, we noticed a gap in the mental health field. While providers are taking care of clients, there seems to be a lack in support for them. This can cause burnout and frustrations for the provider, possibly leading to subpar care. We noticed that clients AND providers needed to be better supported, for the success of both to occur. While I love providing therapy and sharing in the journey of others, my current focus will primarily be on providing the support to the providers, so they are able to better support R&R clients. I am confident you will be able to connect with one of our providers and find the peace of mind you are looking for.

Amara Gore, MBA, LCSW

Therapist/Online Only

I specialize in providing wellness services to teens and adults managing anxiety, depression, and stress related to military life. With over nine years of experience in the mental health field, I am dedicated to guiding individuals through life’s challenges with empathy and expertise.

Having grown up as a military child, I understand the complexities of frequent relocations. I’ve called Fayetteville, NC home for over 20 years, where my mother retired from Ft. Bragg. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Fayetteville State University in 2013, an MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Argosy University in 2018, and a Master’s in Social Work with a focus on Mental Health & Substance Abuse from Fayetteville State University in 2021.

My extensive experience includes roles as a psychometric assistant and psychology technician, working with both civilians and military personnel. At the Haymount Institute for Psychological Services in Fayetteville, I conducted assessments for conditions such as ADHD, PTSD, anger issues, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. My role at Ft. Bragg involved Assessment and Selection for Special Forces, Civil Affairs, and Psychological Operations. During my Master’s program, I completed internships at Connections of Cumberland County, providing case management for at-risk families, and at a private practice in Raeford, where I gained hands-on counseling experience.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, solving puzzles, and relaxing with my American Bully, Rocco, and my tabby cat, Deuce.

I am open to seeing clients ages 13 and up.

Faith-based therapy available upon request.
