I grew up in Illinois and moved to North Carolina about 3 years ago. I have lived all over the United States for the last eleven years due to the military. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor- associate and I am currently in a PhD program for counseling. I have worked in the mental health field for over 14 years with extensive training in complex trauma, attachment, and crisis. The majority of my experience has been with at risk children, adolescents, and their caregivers. I have had the privilege experience working in several mental health settings to include residential facilities, intensive in-home, treatment foster care agencies, school settings, a sex trafficking survivor shelter, and community clinic settings.   I have experience working with those with complex trauma, suicidal ideation, depression, self-harm, personality and mood diagnoses, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, physical aggression, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and working with individuals within the LGBTQIA community.  I have training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Theraplay, Trust Based Relational Interventions, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy. I also have knowledge in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I am passionate about supporting my clients in connecting with all part
